• This is a film and literature appreciation course.
• The course offers an equal emphasis on the study of literature and film as they merge through adaptation.
• An interest in film is necessary to do well in this course.
• This revised version of the course was offered for the first time in 2016 – 2017 school year.
• This is a local course.
• This qualifies as one of the required Optional English Language Arts courses, just as Writing 2203 or Drama 2206.
• This is an Academic English course intended for students whose goals may include some kind of post-secondary study.
